Over the last 34 years as a financial professional, I‘ve enjoyed the privilege of working with many individuals and families helping them plan for or transition into the next phase of their lives.

When we engage with new clients of the practice, we make a solemn promise to each one. The promise is that our Horizons Team will be with them today, tomorrow and the rest of their lives and when they need us the most.

Almost four years ago, we started actively considering and planning for the next generation of advisors that could take the practice forward at some point in the distant future. 

My nephew Andrew Dean, at age 30, is the newest and youngest member of our Horizons Team.

Andrew performs a key role as Operations Manager for the successful operation of the practice. As we continue to fill the roles of the next generation, we have key characteristics that must be met.

  1. Have a servant’s heart. Genuinely care for our clients like family.
  2. Always engage in the best interest for our client. Not what’s going to generate the highest fee or commission.
  3. Always keep your promises.

In closing, I would like to share a portion of our corporate Mission Statement:
